Experience

Matt entered the field of industrial rehabilitation in Maryland immediately after receiving his degree in Exercise Physiology, where he has since proven an active member of the Maryland Workers’ Compensation community. Early in his career, he held the responsibility for managing his own Physical Rehabilitation clinic as a Work Strategies Manager while simultaneously acting as a Marketing Manager. Since joining the REHAB AT WORK team in 2005 he has been an invaluable member of our Work Site Services Division utilizing his advanced certification as a Work Performance Evaluator. Matt currently holds the position of Clinic Manager for the Pikesville location, while he continues to provide his expertise to the Work Site Services team.

Professional Activities

Matt has served as a Board Member of CARPPS-Chesapeake Association of Rehabilitation Professionals in the Private Sector since 2008 and as president in 2009. He has been a member of the Joint Task Force since 2008 as well as an active member of the Baltimore Claims Association. He has experience as an Expert Witness, having testified on functional capacities and job performance potentials. He has been a guest lecturer for several organizations including the IARPS-International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals annual conference.

Philosophy

“Each patient is an industrial athlete. My job is to supply the athlete with all of the tools for successful rehabilitation. The athlete’s job is to take those tools and to do his/her best.”
