About Us
Our Staff
Our staff of highly trained specialists is led by Julie Howar, OTR/L, CWA, CWT. She has been an Occupational Therapist since 1981 and is a Certified Work Adjustment Specialist, Certified Strength Work Adjustment Specialist, Certified Weight Trainer, contributing author, lecturer, and board member of several professional associations.
We are proud that our clinics are staffed by some of the area's most accomplished therapists in the field of industrial rehabilitation and orthopedics, having over 80 years of cumulative experience. They are proficient in the treatment of orthopedic occupational injuries and are knowledgeable of the workers' compensation system.
To maintain our position as the area's largest provider of industrial rehabilitation, we devote considerable resources to continuing education and the professional development of our staff. This ensures that our therapists are properly trained and effective in the use of state-of-the-art techniques for the treatment of our patients.
Our Clinics
REHAB AT WORK'S clinics are specifically designed to get the job done. Each clinic has between 3000-4000 square feet of space offering the best in personalized care and service, featuring private treatment rooms with cutting edge pain relief modalities, and a full service work out gym for strength training, aerobic fitness, and flexibility. We are committed to going the extra mile to replicate the job requirements so that treatment is as real to life as possible. This is done in our designated work simulation area.
10 convenient locations throughout Maryland, the Eastern shore and Northern Virginia make our clinics geographically convenient. Many are metro rail and metro bus accessible. Flexible appointments are available.
